Just Because Blog Giveaway
22 February 2010 Now that I finally have a breather from all the chores, home improvements and baby preparations, it's time to give this blog some lovin' and a boost of regular updates. So for this week, I'm hosting a "Just Because" Blog Giveaway! The first item is this Dutch Blond Amsterdam home organizer. It's perfect to give as a present or for personal use. It has 8 colorful postcards inside and pages of illustrated week overviews where you can write appointments and such. It makes home organizing so much funner! Housewives, girlfriends, mothers, women in general will love this.
Of course, what use is an organizer without a pen? So for my second item, I'm giving away this pink polka dot pen from my favorite Dutch shop, Hema.
That's not all! I have one more thing to give away but it's a mystery item. I will post a photo of it on my flickr account once the winner receives the package. I don't want to spoil the surprise. :)
So here's what you have to do. Leave a comment and tell me something nice and happy. It can be a quote, a poem, about your day, a picture, a simple greeting, anything really.
This will run until Sunday, February 28 and I will randomly pick the winner at 8 p.m. (my time) with a blog post to follow thereafter.
I hope you have/had a great start of your week!
Happy Monday! <3
xoxo,
Gracey
P.S. Please make sure to submit your email address in the email field of the comment box so I know where to contact you should you be the winner, otherwise I will have to choose the next name.

Hi FJ!!!! Goodluck to a new chapter in your life!!! I came across this quote somewhere and I wanna share it with you... "Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle." It's my daily mantra. Because I know someone else might be having a far worser day than I am. =) Peewee ![]()

It's old but still effective and I declare it to the universe each morning, "Today's a better day, hence, I will be at my best!" Been reading your preceding posts. The baby room is so ready. Till the big day! Take care. =) ![]()

Wehehe, I never thought the Blond Amsterdam organizer is this cute. You see, you influenced me and my girls with all your colorfulness ;) Now we want itttt, wehaah! Anyway, I was drinking coffee while reading this entry - and Odette reminded me of the Reader's Digest stuff we learned in our younger years... now back to my coffee thingy: Guest: Eew, your coffee tastes like mud! Host: Really? It was ground this morning! *,* Funny enough, Chrys with all her Dutchiness understood the humor. Advance cheers for our next Hema iced non-mud-tasting coffee :) ![]()

"It's a new dawn. It's a new day. It's a new life for me, and I'm feeling good" (N. Simone).... my new blog 'motto' for 2010. If I could upload a photo, it would be of my cat because she's been so sweet these days when I get home from work, which makes me happy. Something got into her because normally she would just stare at me with a look of "oh, it's you again", but now she's all loving and purring haha. ![]()

Hi Boots, my sweet mother-to-be daughter! I am reminded today of how awesome is the love of God. He said, "I have loved you with an everlasting love. I have drawn you with my loving kindness." I can just say, "Thank You dear Lord for Your goodness and faithfulness for the past year. I am forever grateful! Today, two souls committed their lives to You!" My prayer this morning is "Lord, send me someone today that needs Your help." Indeed, He sent 3 persons just few minutes ago! Isn't that great! Early this morning at 4, my friends came to serenade me...they gave me cards, wishes and words of encouragement and thanksgiving, prayed for me and the whole family (they mentioned their names jud). They brought siopao, bread and biko...and Papa served coffee! Oh, what a blessed and joyful start of a day! I love you and miss you very much! ![]()

Hi Gracey, no, I'm not in for the give-aways. :-) I love reading your blogs whenever I see a link to it in your postings in facebook or friendster. Through them I get a glimpse of your life since we parted after your high school. I'm happy to see there has been much of the good things going on in your life, and your words make me feel the excitement of each and every moment of it...that when I go back in my memory to the same paths that I had taken which you are currently taking, i wondered if I ever felt the same...and somehow i wish I had been familiar with the virtual world then as I am now. It would have been great to record like this those happy memories I had with my babies...I think in the future you wouldn't have this same regret as i have now, now that my babies are already big boys. And your love for crafts I share, only I didn't have as much time as you do. Oh, my...I knew you were so much into music then; I didn't know you had more...Looking at your creative outputs greatly inspire me...I might as well make use of my time as you are doing now...since I have decided to take time away from teaching. Keep doing what you love doing, Gracey. Be happy always, and with your baby coming...you will find out that the world is a much happier place to live in, and that there is much more meaning to life than just living. You will be amazed to find out that there is much much more you can give of yourself...to your husband, to your baby, to others... Be the sunshine that yo always have been. God bless always. :-) ![]()
