The idea of blogging came to me when I came across Christine's website 9 years ago. I frequent her site since then, and wished I could write like she does or be as creative as her. I like the simplicity of her designs and the way she writes her thoughts. She was my inspiration. But it took me four years after to start my own blog. I have been writing on my paper journal, though, and I kind of stopped when I started blogging.
Anyway, here's the blog entry I wrote on July 30, 2003.
rainy days
it's been raining lately and i feel lazier than i already am. the wind is cold. it's muddy outside. the pitter-patter of rain on my roof lulls me to sleep.
it makes me crave for strawberry and vanilla ice cream, or freshly baked pan-de-sal and hot choco.
i've been lounging in the comfort of my air conditioned room for a week. sleeping and messing around behind my computer are the things i do all day, all night. besides the running around of my niece in and out of my room, i find peace and comfort just being here enjoying every bit of my lazy moments. haha.

Funny how the things I write about changed gradually. I have learned to write not only for the sake of a new entry. I don't know why I stopped writing about mundane everyday things. It came so easily before but, now, I can't get myself to write anything much about my day. Am I becoming boring? Or simply quiet? Maybe both?
Time really flies. Sometimes I wonder what my life would be like if I'm not blogging. It feels strange to even think about it because, in so many ways, blogging has changed my life and it will always be a part of me. It's my joy to share my life and I'm happy to celebrate this 5 years of blogging with all of you.
Now, who wants some candy? :)

Hello gracey. I started blogging on March 19, 2005. I didn't know I was blogging since then, teehee. I stopped after that first post, I became lazy. The Internet connection at home was only used for the chatting, I cannot be off the hook for that. Until I renewed my blogging, and up to this day, I still do, and am most active to it now. It helped a lot in my writing, and in spilling out what I feel. ![]() I'm glad that you're blogging again! :) |
