Labels or Love?

I finally watched Sex and the City with Monique, my sister-in-law, today. We really enjoyed ourselves. We laughed; we cried; we ogled at the fab designer bags and clothes; and we kept saying that Sarah Jessica Parker really aged. I think she even looks older than Kim Cattrall who is 9 years her senior. Of course, that's just my opinion. I guess the big screen didn't flatter her skin as much as the other women in the cast. Mr. Big didn't look so different from the last episode, except for the spots of gray hair on his temples. I didn't expect the movie to be long but I'm glad it was, because, when it ended, I didn't have the feeling of wanting to see more like some (if not most) chic/feel-good movies tend to make you feel afterwards. I was satisfied with the ending. And, I think that was a real closure to the series.

I also like the song 'Auld Lang Syne' by Mairi Campbell and Dave Francis which they featured in the movie. Really good stuff. It was the first time I heard the song in Scottish and she sung it so beautifully.

My answer to the question is SHOPPING!!

Hey Gracey. Finally! I caught it again last night. I'm crazy, haha. I'm like a bad fan who can't get enough of the movie. I have the soundtrack, and Auld Lang Syne makes me tear up! Haha. Hope you have a good rest of the week!
You did? Haha! Addicted! :D It's her voice that makes the voice so beautiful. Have a good rest of the week yourself!

i still have to have to watch that movie, er...force the husband to watch it with me. :)
I wanted Mike to watch it with me but he didn't want to.. although he watched the series. Good luck on "forcing" the hub! Hahah.

the movie was good for a series turned to big screen..but i sorely miss the series. i wasn't expecting it to end that happily for carrie, but i enjoyed it nonetheless :).
It was a good movie and I really like how they turned it to big screen. For the first time, I actually liked Charlotte. lol

You know I don\'t write spoilers. :)

I got into SATC only after the series ended on HBO. I started to buy the DVDs one after the other until I had the whole series...oops. Even KJ got into the series watching it with me. We haven't seen the movie yet, but luckily the hubby actually likes chick flicks hahaha
There aren't that many Dutch men who like chick flicks! We made the good picks! lol

Aside from SATC, Mike also likes Gilmore Girls. :D This is the first time he didn't come with me - prolly to give me that time to have an alone bonding time with his sister.

You will enjoy the movie!!!!
