Shop: The Black Apple
Blog: Inside a Black Apple
I have a lot of favorites but these two are the toppers.
The Red Piano

I love everything in this painting. The red. The piano. The bird. The teacup and saucer. The girl. The girl's outfit. The girl's hair. The colors. I love it!
Scarf for Two

This painting looks like me and my brother, Ian. He's my closest sibling and my favorite. He's my biggest influence in art, books, music even fashion. I just had to have this one. I still owe him a knitted scarf and I'm thinking of making it black and white like that on the print.
These are my first etsy purchases and I'm so happy! Can't wait to get them in the mail. I love her work and her sense of style. How can some people dress so effortlessly cool? I want that magic, too!

| i have been a big black apple fan for more than a year now. i watched her on martha, and even reads her other blogs. :) her "girl" paintings resemble her own profile actually, and i thought it's very sweet! ![]() I know! They look a lot like her. I love all her dresses and her hair!Just that scarf for two print reminds me of Ian and myself. He looks more like the boy there with the hair and the glasses. I discovered her last year but it's only now that I decided to buy her stuff. I'm inspired to use cute and artsy prints to decorate our walls especially now that I'm thinking of doing a major apartment makeover. :) |

not familiar with her work, but now I am :) I browsed her blog and the dolls she makes are too cute. Sad though when I see a doll have more style than myself lol ![]() Hahaha, I feel the same way! |

They're so cute! I love them! Were I not scared into making my home into a hodgepodge of style (I love anything oriental and hello kitty, go figure), I wouldn't have second thoughts about indulging in another collection. As it is, I'm already happy just watching yours grow. :-) ![]() They're really cute, no? Hehe, I'll post a photo once my collection has grown a bit and they're hung on the wall. :) |
