I have been spending my evenings crocheting on the couch while we watch Law & Order episodes on tv. They've been airing quite a lot of those lately. Almost everyday, in fact. I think it's good they do because I get to work on my granny squares' edges, finally decided on white this time. It will take around 140 squares to finish the blanket and, so far, I've only done a quarter. This is going to take some time to finish.

Little projects in between keep my crochet time interesting. It's good to make something different once in a while as I easily get bored when I stick to just one project. Seeing that the blanket won't be done anytime soon, I need a breaker to spice it up a bit. I even used one of my cute buttons. Still can't get enough of them!
The sleeping pill is slowly kicking in. It might be a good idea to sign off now. I hope you all had a great weekend!

wow you do some neat crocheting! i was never good at that. i remember having it as a project in highschool, since i couldn't do a decent one, i traded projects with my neighbor. she does my crochet projects while i supply her with debate ideas and we got pretty fine grades :) ![]() Haha, that's a brilliant solution! I learned to crochet in grade school and I loved it! |

i can imagine it's going to be one very pretty blanket! would definitely make the cold weather more bearable, if you can snuggle yourself in such loveliness that you made yourself. :) ![]() I'm really excited about this! I make it my goal to finish before winter. Ha, good luck to me! |

Keeping your hands busy with crocheting while watching TV is so much better than keeping your hands busy with chips and salsa! ![]() It is much better! But there's another pair of hands that do the feeding so there is no escape. Haha! |

| Cool to see the square pile growing! Is this your first blanket project? Funny when there are these series mini-marathons on tv. You can somehow get lost in the day watching one after the other...at least you multi-task and crochet at the same time :) ![]() True that! There were days when I did nothing but watch episodes after episodes. But now, it's too hot for that. lolThis is my first granny squares blanket. I started a vertical blanket last year but didn't make a lot of progress on that. This one, though, has more promise in it so I really really want to finish it. |
