The calm after the storm

I'm SO glad the last week is over and everything is back to normal. Mike went back to work today and I'm catching up on reading blogs and finishing up things that have been neglected for the past week due to the flu bug that was going around here. That was quite a break I took. I miss blogging! Will write more later! <3

Glad to see you back in action...just in time for Queen's Day :) Do you have anything special planned to celebrate?
It's good to be back! We go to the cinema during Queen's day because it's almost empty, but we're thinking of going out this time and check out what people have for sale. I'm keen on buying chairs to repaint as replacement for our dining chairs. :)

Hi Gracey, found you through your post on my blog. I love yours! Btw, I was born in Davao but don't remember what it was like because we moved to Negros when I was 2. I was born in Compostela and have always wanted to go back. :) Welcome back to the blogosphere! (I've been sick too!)
I love your blog too! Just went there and commented on your post. :)

Where in Negros? My dad is from La Carlota, Neg. Occidental. We went there a lot when I was younger. Hehe.

Being sick is blegh! Hope you're feeling better now!

YAY

I am glad you'rte back. Your blog is one of those I love to read first and no updates make me sad! lol

Glad you're all better!
Awww, I'm glad to be back so don't be sad now! :D

Gracey! WHAT a coincidence! I grew up in Victorias, which is another sugar mill in Neg. Occ. I bet your dad knows my mom because she grew up in La Carlota herself, and we have family there! It really IS a small world.
Really?? Wow! It is a small world indeed. There's a big possibility that your mom's fam and my dad's (Yanson) know each other. What's your mom's last name?

J. at April 30 2008 | 23:31
My mom's name is Rosario Fuentes (that's her maiden name). She says she might know your dad's family! The world gets smaller and smaller every day! :)
Will ask him the next time I call home! :)
