Christmas came early

We just got home from a yummilicious sushi dinner downtown, and afterwards, we did a little bit of book shopping. I'm kind of sushied-out. For now anyway. I could go for more sushi tomorrow if Mike is up for it which I highly doubt because he can't eat the same thing two days in a row. Unless, of course, it's ice cream or any sugar-rich foods.

So we got to the bookstore and I headed directly towards the magazine section. I spent quite some time there, scanning through home and hobby magazines, the usual good stuff. I bought a couple of christmas magazines which I've been waiting for for weeks but Country Living still isn't out. That bummed me out for a while but then I decided to check out the sale section on the top floor and I can't believe my luck for finding a brand new Caroline Zoob's book, Speelgoed & Cadeautjes, (Childhood Treasures) for a much cheaper price than what it is being sold for second-hand. Then I also saw the Sfeer Maken (Sew Pretty Homestyle) by Tone Finnanger which I couldn't get the heart to return to the shelf so Mike bought it for me as an advance sinterklaas cadeau. Hee-hee! They both have very nice inspiring photographs and patterns for cute projects for the little one and for the house.

Looks like I'll be pulling an all-nighter again tonight.
